Lighting TD IMAX / Sequence TD / Crowd TD Animal Logic Sydney - 05 / 06

• Happy Feet

• Sequence TD to Lighting TD (IMAX).

• Responsible for a lighting team. Technical support to lighters and their assigned shots. Providing a communication bridge between various departments and the lighting team. This is achieved by thorough knowledge of the lighting pipeline within Animal Logic. Trouble-shooting shot scenes to ascertain why assets are not functioning correctly or rendering and then either fixing assets or contacting the asset provider with the reason for their asset failure.My role at Animal Logic has been flexible and I have provided support to departments where they have needed help to maintain deadlines. This has included helping the layout department with two sequences and producing six crowd shots for the “Happy Feet” teaser trailer. Using the in-house crowd tools.Software used at Animal logic has included Maya, Pixar Renderman, Mayaman, Digital Fusion and various internal tools coupled with some MEL.
  

Previs Artist Rising Sun Pictures / Pixel Liberation Front - 04 / 05.

• Superman Returns
  

• The project gave me the opportunity to interface directly with team members from Pixel Liberation Front and other departments to produce the Previs for Superman Returns. This involved a great deal of interfacing with the head of visual effects and the director Bryan Singer to make changes and adjustments to the film as it has progressed though the pipeline.
